Project summary

      After making the storyboard for my group and I’s portfolio project, I think I have a somewhat clear understanding of the plot. What my group and I know is that we want the setting to be in a therapy room and it’s a time loop.

     It starts off with a girl and her therapist. It’s near the end of the therapy session and the girl is zoning out. She doesn’t want to be there. As the therapist is asking a question, the girl’s phone starts ringing. She ignores it and the session continues. Time jump, the girl is leaving the room and walking towards her car. As soon as she is about to sit down, she is immediately back in the therapy room. Now, this girl doesn’t know if she actually ever left the room or she is in a time loop. Because of this, she doesn’t react much although she is confused. She pushes this problem aside but then the therapist asked her the same question she had before. All of the therapist actions are the same, weird…., the girl thinks. So, the girl gets up and heads to the bathroom to clear her mind. A few seconds later, she gets another phone call but this time she answers it. “At least finish the session” the caller said. Before the girl could even show a reaction, she was back in the therapy session. The same question had been asked by the therapist 2 seconds later.

     I do have something to confess… I think my group and I still aren’t entirely sure how this storyline is going to go. I’m not saying this in a bad way, it’s just that we have so many ideas we could incorporate and we don’t really know how we want to use those ideas or if we should even add them. I’m not going to lie… I am nervous for this project. I feel as if it is confusing BUT, I’ve worked with my group before and they’re amazing. So, I think I shouldn’t stress too much because our group can handle this decision.
